CEMATRIX Confirms Breakout Year

Cellular concrete company, CEMATRIX has very clear traction with another contract announced today, which takes the 2015 total to $15 million. Today’s news announced that the company has secured a contract for just under $1 million this morning and President and CEO Jeff Kendrick stated that as of today’s date, the company has already placed 24% more cellular concrete than it did in all of last year.

With a record $15 million contracted to be completed in 2015 it is surprising that CVX is trading with a market cap of just $7.5 million as of this writing.  Management expects CEMATRIX will finish the year EBITDA positive between $2 – $2.5 million and have projected revenues for 2016 between $18 – $20 million.

Over the last year, FLYHT Aerospace has made some key moves attracting expert aviation industry veterans to its board, proven industry leaders to its sales force, and now former L-3 Communications Vice President, Engineering Tom Schmutz will take over from Bill Tempany as FLYHT’s Chief Executive Officer. The Howard Group`s President Grant Howard sat down with Mr. Schmutz to discuss what attracted him to FLYHT and discuss his involvement with FLYHT over the past eight years while at L-3 Communications.

Here are some key items discussed in the interview:

  • Following the tragedy of AirFrance 447 over the Atlantic, Tom first read about a company that stated it could track and transmit black box data in real time. This piqued his interest to learn more about FLYHT.
  • He was a key part of the cooperative agreement signed between L-3 and FLYHT.
  • While at L-3 Aviation he was able to open doors for FLYHT. At the same time, FLYHT was quick in responding to requests.
  • Tom believes that the AFIRS Uptime product is creative and impressive.
  • He stated that as FLYHT attracts larger customers they gain increased industry credibility.
  • Schmutz has public/roadshow experience with the technology company Airnet Communications. As part of the original group of eleven employees, he saw the employee count grow to approximately 450 people, with revenues growing into the many millions of dollars before the entity was acquired.
  • In closing, he acknowledged he likes what FLYHT has accomplished and its pipeline opportunities. He believes the market is ready for the AFIRS product and there are several compelling initiatives in the pipeline that can propel FLYHT’s growth.

FLYHT Receives Airbus A320 Certification from the Federal Aviation Administration

CALGARY, ALBERTA–(Oct. 14, 2015) – FLYHT Aerospace Solutions Ltd. (“FLYHT” or the “Company”) (TSX VENTURE:FLY) (OTCQX:FLYLF) reported today it has received a re-issued Supplemental Type Certificate (“STC”) for its Automated Flight Information Reporting System (“AFIRS™”) 228 on the Airbus A320 series aircraft from the Federal Aviation Administration (“FAA”). The STC has been re-issued to add the AFIRS 228 to this existing STC.

“The FAA in the U.S. and EASA in Europe are the largest certification authorities as well as the most recognized,” commented Jeff Brunner, FLYHT’s Vice President of Certification Engineering & China Operations. “Many smaller countries and leasing companies accept approval from the state of manufacture to install equipment such as AFIRS so this STC opens many doors to potential customers.”

The Company also received the provisions STC on the Bombardier DHC-8-400 series aircraft for the AFIRS 228 from Transport Canada. A provisions STC allows FLYHT to install and complete a test flight on a customer’s aircraft in order to receive the full STC. There are currently two prospective customers who will potentially take advantage of this STC to utilize AFIRS and allow for full certification on their aircraft.

A STC constitutes regulatory approval to modify an aircraft’s design while retaining airworthiness certification and is necessary to permit retrofit installation of aeronautical products such as AFIRS. A full list of FLYHT’s STCs is available on the company’s website.
